Vietnam
Vietnam ("Việt Nam" in Vietnamese) is a country in southeastern Asia, settled in the east part of Indochina peninsula. The total area of Vietnam counts 329,560 sq km, land borders are 4,639 km long, coastline runs for 3,444 km. Vietnam borders with Laos, China, and Cambodia.
Vietnam comprises highlands in a central part and mountain ranges in the north and northwest. The highest point in Vietnam is Fan Si Pan (3,144 m). Red River Delta and Mekong River Delta make two main river deltas in the country.
The Capital city of Vietnam is Hanoi (Ha Noi). Hanoi is located in the northeastern part of Vietnam. Population of Hanoi is approximately 5,700,000 inhabitants, the largest city Ho Chi Minh City includes more than six milion inhabitans.
